P-TEST (Pregnancy Test Strip 50pcs)
Human Chorionic gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the developing placenta shortly after fertilization. In normal pregnancy, hCG can be detected in both urine and serum as early as 7 to 10 days after conception. The presence of hCG is what the test strip tries to detect to determine whether there is a pregnancy (positive) or not (negative).
DIRECTION OF USE
Step 1: Collect a sample of urine (always best to use first morning urine as the hCG will be the most concentrated) in a urine container.
Step 2: Dip the Test strip vertically into the sample of urine for a few seconds ( at least 10-15 secs). Do not pass the maximum line (MAX) on the test strip when immersing it into the urine container.
Step 3: Remove the Test strip
Step 4: Place the Test strip on a non-absorbent flat surface, start the timer and wait for the red line(s) to appear. The time range is within 3 minutes of which a result must be indicative.
POSITIVE: If a "two distinct red lines appear. One line should be in the control region (C) and another line should be in the test region (T)
NB: The degree of redness in the test line region (T) will vary depending on the concentration of HCG present in the specimen (urine). Therefore, any shade of red in the test region (T) should be considered positive.
NEGATIVE: One red line appears in the control region (C). No apparent red or pink line appears in the test region (T).
NB: A low HCG concentration might result in a weak line appearing in the test region (T) after a prolonged period of time. Therefore, do not interpret the result after 5 minutes. For More Information, See Leaflet or Consult Your Doctor or Lab Scientist
